Baldin is a specialist in lyrical opera productions of Italian tradition. In the last years he has successfully conducted various of them; the most outstanding are: Le Nozze di Figaro and Don Giovanni by W.A. Mozart; L’Elisir d’Amore, Il Campanello and Betly by G. Donizetti; Tosca, La Boheme and Madame Butterfly by G. Puccini; Cavalleria Rusticana by P. Mascagni; La Traviata, Nabucco, Aida and Un ballo in maschera by G. Verdi; and La Medium by G. C. Menotti.


Graduated in piano and choral direction in the Conservatory of Udine, Italy. Baldin studied composition with D. Zanettovich and orchestra direction with G. Serembe in the Academia Pescarese, Italy with outstanding results. He has refined his vocational training by taking different courses, especially in the chamber and musical direction with O. Danzi, J. Dorfmann, G. Mayer, B. Canino, G. Acciai, S. Woodbury, P. Righele.


He has been recognized by his interpretations in the lyric symphonic sector. In this field, could be emphasized the direction of: Requiem by G. Verdi, Symphony No. 9 by Beethoven and Carmina Burana by Carl Orff.


Among his compositions stands out the music for the staging of “Medea of Euripides”, production that had Franco Branciaroli as leading actor (first actor of the Theatre “Piccolo” in Milan).


He has led several orchestras; among them we can recognize: the Symphony Orchestra of Pescara: the Orchestra of the Theatre “I. Zajc” of Rijeka, Croatia: the Komorni Orkester of Vrhnika, Slovenia; the Orchestra of Pordenone City; the Orchestra “Accademia Vivaldiana” of Venezia; the Orchestra “Filarmonica di Verona”; the Orchestra “Solisti Classici Italiani” of Milan; the Orchestra of the Collegium Simphonium of Padova; the Symphony Orchestra “Citta di Grosseto”; the Chamber Orchestra “Citta di Pesaro” and the Orchestra “Sinfonica di G. Rossini” both of Pesaro; the Symphony Orchestra of Como; the Symphony Orchestra of the Academia Musical “F. Chopin” of Warsavia, Poland; the Orchestra of the Theatre of the Opera of Kharkov, Ucrania; the Symphony Orchestra of Bacau, Rumania and the Cafa Musica Orchestra of Seul.


As choral conductor, he led the L.I.O. (Lyric Italian Opera) of Tokio, the Lyric Choro Opitergino, the “Coro Lirico Voci del Piave”, the “Corale Polifonica di Montereale”, the “Coro del Collegium Symphonium Veneto” and the “Coro Lirico dell’Opera Stage”, among others.


Baldin has conducted important musical productions with the participation of international renowned soloists as the soprano Katia Ricciarelli and the violinist Feliz Ayo. He also took part of lyrics productions under the stage direction of Claudio del Monaco.


In 2007 he conducted stages in different countries. As example we can mention: Le Nozze di Figaro in the Theatre of the Opera of Inchon, South Korea; Carmina Burana in a tour in north Italy; Nabucco in Mexico City, Mexico. Moreover he participated as jury of the prestigious singing contest “Carlo Morelli” in the same city. After this contest, he was selected as guest conductor of the “Orquesta del Teatro de Bellas Artes” of the Gala; and during the last month of this year, he has been guest conductor of the “Coro del Teatro de Bellas Artes”.


He is titular teacher in the “Conservatorio di Musica di Consenza” itlay, of: “Choral conducting” and in “the Master to singers and pianists accompaniment” in the European Academy of Lyric Singing in South Korea. In addition, he writes for the musical editorial “Pizzicato” of Udine; he transcribes plays of Italian authors and from the popular tradition. Actually, he serves as a reviewer of unknown plays.


Among the awards that he has received as a director and composer, stands out the awards obtained in the turoldians manifestations due to the 10 anniversary of Father Turoldo’s death with the Sacra Representation “Il Pianto muto Delle Madri”, production commissioned by the Region Friuli-Venezia-Giulia and represented in different cathedrals and basilicas. As a matter of fact, a cinematographic version in DVD was published.

Italian conductor, choral director, pianist, composer and arranger. He is recognized by his interpretations at international level, led numerous concerts in Italy, Spain, England, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Slovenia, Poland, Mexico and South Korea.
